Whatcom Libraries Collaborate

Whatcom Libraries Collaborate is an initiative of six academic, public, and tribal libraries in Whatcom County, formed to facilitate community engagement and the sharing of resources across the county.

Participating Libraries:

The Library Connections Program allows anyone, with photo ID and proof of address, who lives, works, goes to school, or owns property in Whatcom County to register at any of the six academic and public libraries in Whatcom County. Materials can be borrowed from any library and returned to any other library or book return in Whatcom County.

Materials from Whatcom County Library System and Bellingham Public Library can be placed on hold and delivered to the Lummi Library for check-out.

Policies regarding the number of materials checked out, length of check out period, renewals, fines, etc. are those of the lending library. Please contact the specific library for details.

Whatcom Reads is a county-wide program that encourages everyone to read and discuss the same book.
